# Notifications

The **Notifications** settings control when MyaiOne for Development alerts you about task activity, so you can step away and be pulled back only when something needs you. Each event can be toggled on or off independently.

## Notification events

Choose which events trigger a notification:

* **On Task Complete** — notify when a task finishes successfully.
* **On Task Failed** — notify when a task encounters an error.
* **On Review Needed** — notify when QA requires your review.

## Sound

* **Sound** — play a sound along with notifications.

<Tip>
  If you're running tasks in the background, keep **On Review Needed** and **On Task Failed** on — those are the moments that actually need your attention — and turn on **Sound** so you don't miss them while in another window.

  These are the **default** notification preferences. Remember to click **Save Settings** to apply your changes. **Cancel** discards them.
